Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

To create an account and use the app we may process your name, email address, session information, cycle dates, journal notes, moods and symptoms, notification preferences and device notification token. If you choose to use the AI chat, those messages are stored with your account too.

2. Why we use the data

We use this data to manage your account, track your cycle, show your journal entries, send reminders, offer personal insights and run the app.

3. Health data

Virora may process health-related data for period and cycle tracking. This information is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or a doctor's advice.

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not share your personal data with third parties for ad targeting; the ads shown in the app are non-personalised (see section 6). If you choose to use the AI chat, a summary of your cycle is sent to an AI provider; section 5 lists exactly what is shared. We may rely on infrastructure services such as hosting, databases and notifications, only to the extent needed to run the system.

5. AI chat

The in-app AI chat feature is entirely optional; it does not run without your explicit consent. If you consent, the following summary is sent to an AI provider with every message so your questions can be answered using your own data: your cycle day, current phase, average cycle and period length, predicted period date and whether you are late, your cycle regularity and its variation, how long you have been logging, your most frequently marked mood and symptom labels, and the message you just wrote. These are never sent: your name, email address, account id, the free text of your journal notes, your location and your device identifier. You can view the exact current contents of that summary at any time from the link on the chat screen. You can withdraw consent from Settings; when you do, we stop using your chat data and your entire chat history is permanently deleted from our servers. Replies are AI-generated; this is not a doctor, it does not diagnose and it does not give medical advice.

6. Advertising

There is no subscription in the app. When the daily free allowance for the AI chat runs out, you may choose to watch a short video ad to earn more messages. This is entirely your choice; if you do not watch one, your allowance renews the next day. No health data, cycle information, journal entry or chat content is shared with the ad network. Ads are requested as non-personalised, and only a single-use, non-identifying verification code is passed to the ad network so the reward can be verified. The ad network may process technical information about your device under its own privacy policy in order to serve the ad. Where required, Google's ad privacy form is shown and you can revisit your choices from Settings.

7. Security

Data is protected with HTTPS in transit and accessed with server-side authorization checks. Only the necessary system components and authorized people have access.

8. Data retention

We keep your personal data only while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data tied to it — profile details, cycle records, journal entries, your chat history, notification tokens and session information — is immediately and permanently removed from our servers. Unless a legal retention obligation applies, we keep no personal data after an account is deleted.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your Virora account from Settings in the app. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or the data on our servers.

Request deletion without using the app

You can request account deletion by email even if the app is no longer installed on your device or you cannot sign in.

From the email address registered with your Virora account, email hello@virora.app with the subject “Virora account deletion request” and tell us that you want your account and its associated data deleted.

Request account deletion

To protect your account, we verify your request through your registered email address before deleting it. Do not include your password, verification codes or health records in your email.

Once your request is verified, your account and its associated profile details, cycle and journal records, chat history, notification tokens and session information are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone. Exceptions to data retention are described in section 8.
